SUMMARY

FROM GOODREADS....

When Lorelei's old school mysteriously burns down, a new one appears practically overnight: Splendid Academy. Rock-climbing walls on the playground and golden bowls of candy on every desk? Gourmet meals in the cafeteria, served by waiters? Optional homework and two recess periods a day? It's every kids's dream.

But Lorelei and her new friend Andrew are pretty sure it's too good to be true. Together they uncover a sinister mystery, one with their teacher, the beautiful Ms. Morrigan, at the very center.

Then Andrew disappears. Lorelei has to save him, even if that means facing a past she'd like to forget – and taking on a teacher who's a real witch.

What Lorelei and Andrew discover chills their bones – and might even pick them clean!

Fairytale Re-telling

Another one of those MG fantasy like books which sounds just too cute for words.  I believe this one is a fairy re-telling of Hansel and Gretel.  I'm really looking forward to this one.  Its perfect for my Fairytale re-telling Challenge.  Too bad I have to wait for half the year before I get the opportunity to read it.

Release Date: August 24th 2012

    1. I'm sort of on a MG kick right now. I love cute, easy to read stories. They are so warm and fluffy. Sometimes I need a lot of warm and fluffy....

  3. It sounds really great even if I'm not sure to like it as I should. Isn't it more for teenagers than YA? I wonder all of a sudden.

    1. It may even be more for MG than even teens, but somehow I'm always drawn to these books.

    1. Its not your typical YA read. Its more of a cute MG story, but its more what I'm finding I like lately.

    1. Yep, cute is what I was going for. Sometimes I like just a warm, fuzzy read, this looks like it fits the bill.
